Guys, do you think is it necessary to attend Kaplan classes or just buy the books and study by yourself?

look doc ra7man.... kaplan is the best for all subjects. 1st aid is verrrrrrrrrrrrry veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy important for revesion make it your only book during the last month, usmle world is the best source of question , if you have time don't miss kaplan qbank. for pathology some recommend goljian i didn't use it. for pathology you can use www.webpath (you can use its qs after finishing each chapter in pathology) about preparation time (it will be according to your situation) preparation time has a variation from one person to another. important topics will appear to you after doing q bank BUT i can tell you that: pathology is the heart of USMLE , and for behavioral ethics and physician patient relationship is very important at last nothing will be hard with good and hard studying good luck

Hi, look doc ra7man, I read the study experience of a lot of guys who got 99, also a friend of mine got 96 in step 1, the book sources are little bit variable regarding pathology RR(Goljan) & audio Goljan anatomy+ histology+embyriology+ neuroanatomy kaplan( some says HY for neuroanatomy) biochemistry kaplan +DVD's micro the best one is made rediculously simple & immunology kaplan pharmacology kaplan then 1st aid(very important in this subject) behavioural science kaplan or HY both said are excellent +DVD's these books are golden sources If you wanna to be included with me in study partner system on line, I'll be so gald good luck to all.
