For acute, chronic, & pancreatic cancer.....is CT-Scan the best choice What initial---CT-scan also??

Acute Pancreatitis 1st Amylase & Lipase 2nd CT-Scan *Is the best Lipase or CT??? Chronic Pancreatitis 1st Abdominal X-ray or CT........correct??? so are both equivocal Pancreatic Cancer 1st CT or ERCP.....Are both equivocal????

1) Acute: >Within first 12hrs --> serum lipase + amylase >after 12hrs --> Urine lipase + amylase >After 48hrs --> CT-scan 2) Chronic: >1st test = abd. X-ray >Best = CT 3) Cancer: >CT = BEST --> if CT is negative ==> ERCP >If both Negative --> cholangiocarcinoma

in chronic the first test is AXR??? also in chronic is stool elastase the diagnostic test (not sure on this, just trying to recall from rotations)
