Please be patient during this busy time and look for our response through ERAS Email. We ask that you please refrain from contacting the program office regarding updated documents or to inquire about your status. Candidates who ignore this request will not be invited for an interview. Sincerely,

Few More Commands to Add: assuming you are invited along with some odd number of applicants. 1) Do you interview with each program director individually, or is it a group effort ? There is no panel Interview in US unlike UK/ Other parts of world. Usually you will be interviewd by PD or Chairman or Asso PD and One attending or Cheif resident and if there is a third peron most likely it will be chief resident. Most of the hositals folows this set pattern based on my limited experince and hearsay. Usually you go do there indiviual office and most of the time it will be a two way conversation which could be anything depending upon your interview skills / tactics/ diversion to lead the interviewer without boring/ repeatition/ etc.. 2) How many "people" are you expected to interview with on average ? (Yes, I know it varies from hospital to hospital, but on average) Most of the program conduct 5 to 10 (max) candidate in a batch unless if it is a really big program with two set of interviewers 3) How many applicants are there with you on average ? Usually the ration is 1:10 for each positoin. Other thing I want to command is 1.Snacks/ meals You have gone for a purpose and this is not a party / family function. Some sort of basic proffesionalism is expected which most do, some does'nt and it spoils the whole environment. even it is provided for you and free , you are under the scanner for the whole day , so watch how you do.hope you got the point. Second the very most important thing not only for interview/ as a proffession not only here, any where . please to refrain from speaking in language any other then in english, which is considered rude and unproffessional Third thing don't discuss the interview q's when you come out of the room, it will not only reduces your chance, and IF the Program comes to know the question of confidentiality/ reliablity is lost on you. Fourth don't overreact especially in the conference/ teaching to show your presence, it may back fire. be optimistic/ geniune. I May had few more later as it comes to my mind One Caution Don't overestimate with the program feedback which does'nt guarantee anything . so if you are not that confident/ or you a good prematch in a decent program thing twice or as many times before you say know to them especially given the cmpetition this year. again this is my personal experience ,
