Dear BBB,
plz help me with the following..
i graduated in 2004 and soon after i moved to another country where i could not get a licence to practice med,,,n there were no opportunities for me to do house job/residency or even volunteer work ..
for the past 3 yrs , i am a full time home maker,,,i took my step 1 when i was 6 mths pregnant and step 2 with a 6 month old baby...
in the last 3 yrs, i could only do externship for 2 mths (even that was on personal contacts and not official)
i just received this email from a program :
This email is to inform you thfor Psychiatry at we have received your ERAS application
The following items are still missing from your ERAS application:
Please clarify what you did during the following time periods: 7/2004-2/2007 and 4/2007-present.
When all your application items are received our training director will review your application.
All applications need to be completed and submitted to our office through ERAS by December 15, 2007
plz tell me what shall i do???
p.s: i mentioned all this on that part of my application where they ask us whether we had any aps in our clinical training..if yes , then why...

I think they are very interested in you still, considering that they still bothered to email you and all.
So don't give up. I think an email reply is good.
Which program is this? You can also give the PC a call, email her and then send her a letter which she can attach to your CV for reference.

well i did email her and she said she is going to fwd my email to the residency coordinator so that he can review my application.
the program is univ of wisconsin (psychiatry dept)
