I consider myself lucky to be posting here after 2.5 month of study. I didn't have a choice and didn't cover a lot of material like i should have. Nevertheless.
Study perioid: 2.5 months, 8-10hours
Study resources: costanzo physio text, golgian notes + audio, kaplan biochem, kaplan physio, kaplan path, and first aid. Rapid review path.
Questions: biochem, pharm, micro, histo rapid review. (not useful). BUT UW very useful study tool.
NMBE1: 2 months before: 300 (scared to death)
NMBE2: 1 month before : 380
NMBE3: 2 weeks before: 310 (heart attack)
UW world score: 54%
step 1 exam result: 188/76
any thoughts?

WOW thats excellent..First off CONGRATS ON PASSING...Really happy for you. YOu know just be happy because this is one of the hardest exam you will write in your medical career (according to many practicing doctors). YOU PASSED thats all it matter. I hope i can post something like this in 2-3 weeks. Your NBME's were low (i agree), but hey YOU PASSED...thats all it counts. CONGRATS AGAIN. Lets hope i see you in step 2 forums now.

Congratulations, Lymph! You did it, and that's all that counts. Like you, i didn't have a choice with timing of my exam either, so we do what we can in the time frames we are allowed. And given the time you had to work with, I think you did really well! See you around Step 2 forums

U just made it didn't you? Well move on I say. There is nothing you can do about it, so no point in thinking about it.
I would go for a party..U made it mate..Imagine what if u had to repeat it. now U don't have to go through this torture.
