Did somebody took the exam after 6-8 weeks of prep time? Is that possible? I am IMG,graduated in 1998,took step 2cs in june and passed and now I am planning on studying paralel for step 1 and step 2CK to have the results by end of the year.Am I toooo crazy?

It depends on ur knowledge and ur ability to study, but since u r an old graduate, I think u have to give it as much time as possible.

but remember one thing:

"There is something difficult but there is nothing impossible"

6-8wks 4 both stepsshocked

when i was planning 2 study 4 step 1 in 2 months ever1 told that it is unwise thing 2 do but i dont know about 6 wks 4 both stepsraised eyebrowrolling eyes

that's my plan but it definitely depends on your knowledge base.... do questions everyday and stay focused... good luck

I think I expressed myself wrong.I wanted to do the step 1 in 6-8 weeks and then study for step 2 CK to be ready by the end of the year.
And doing a lot of questions,mainly questions,with review of FA book,could that be enough?

but there is no need to hurry. application time for residency in 2009 is in fall 2008.
why dont you do the same like me.
step 1 fall 2007
step 2ck spring 2008
step 2cs summer 2008
application fall 2008
residency 2009 wink
