hi.. can anyone plz tell me how are the questions asked about LOD score in exam ?
do we need to do the calculation?
i now if its >3 there is a linakge equilibrium but then how do we calculate it in cM?

Friends, Please correct me if i'm wrong if i say:
Genes which are situated close to each other --> say 5cM apart--> have a low recombination frequency (theta) --> say 5% --> then, the LOD score is HIGH (>3)

Therefore High LOD score= High linkage
