Thanks aimfor2007. really appreciate your advise. I am aimiung for a good score this time. Since my transripts haave been automatically transmitted all the programs must have known my result. Although I wrote to them that I dont mind J1 visa but I hardly feel rthey will rank me because of this failure. its sad but true. Just when i was close to my goal i fell. anyways thanks again for the support. Godbless you.

Hmm don't give up hope. Failing can happen. I am worried now. U were doing so well. I have my exam in 2 days. Any advice?
If you are OK with J1. I say totally go for it. Don't watse a year. I don't think u will not be considerted because u failed step3. I know a lot of people who do.
I am shocked and scared. I can only imagine how disappointed you must be. This isn't over yet. You can do.

thanks medocuk, I would say i hadnt taken NBME and if I had I definitly would have postponed as i didnt make it by very less points. I guess you should be fine if you are satisfied with your preparation. I wasn't and people kept telling me that you never will be ready for it...but go with your gut feelling...I did feel like taking some more time but I went for it. Moreover though I was good in ccs cases but I didnt do well in mcqs so I feel I should have done more questions. The questions of step3 are truely very vague...it all depends how good a guess u cana make. How were ur scores in UW and NBME?
