I Like your phrase, "step 2 prison". It is so true, but we have to live in this prison very positively so many good things will come out from this experience.

myitme: The interview went pretty well. When I showed up the secretary gave me an itinerary for the day. And I was like "Huh?" b/c I figured I'd have an hour long interview with one person and I'd be out of there. But I actually had a series of 5 interviews with different people heading up their respective parts of the project. Each interview was between 30-45 minutes. So I was there all morning. By the last interview, my ADHD was begining to kick in, and I was ready to go.
The only reason I can think of for them not offering me the job is b/c of the time committment. They asked when I was applying to residency, and were worried I might be gone in a few months so it wouldn't be worth their time to train me, just to have me leave right away. So I had to stretch the truth a little.  but well see what happens.

I took NBME II today, scored 420. I think it was harder then the first one.
I pooped now ... going to zone out in front of the tv with a papa johns pizza for the rest of the night
