I need advice on how i can effectively prepare for it and the best materials to use. Man, I am very sorry to hear about your unsuccess... First of all, it is good that you decided to take the exam soon... Whatever the knowledge you help is gonna help you... Second, spend some time on this forum... You will see that the most difficult Qs are being discussed here, and again, this will be helpful to polish your knowledge... Third, figure out what was the weakest part of your knowledge... And spend some time on rereading your textbooks... By the way, what did you use for your prep???

thanks a lot for the encouragement. I first of all used the kaplan notes, then first aid, after which i did the uw, then kaplan qbook, then reread the notes i made from the uw. i really do not know what to do again

wow, that's weird... You used all the classic sources and scored that low... I would certainly recommend to go over all your sources... Ant trust in yourself... I will do it if try again...

it's also possible you had a VERY bad test day. you seem you went through all of UW and read the explanations and took notes. also, a 69 is really a 140? that seems low for a 69.

No one can tell if 10 weeks is enough for your prep... So, listen to your heart... Pay maximal attention to weak zones of your exam performance... And, you probably shoud take MNBE test even before you start your test... Many ppl say that this is a good estimate your your chances for a passing score... Considering the fact that you used all the sources other use and pass, I would not recommend you to add anything to your textbooks... Was was your feeling about the exam when you were in the testing center??? Did you feel you were not getting the Qs crear?

ironically, as i went through the exam i was calm and very confident, finishing each block with a minute to spare. The only time i had problem was with the last block cuz i had to rush it in under 57 minutes. So i kind of rushed the first 10 to 15 questions before slowing a bit. But even at that i was still very confident and then the result came out and i was devastated. It is sometimes hard combining studing and work but i guess i have no choice, i will give it all my best.
