am more than grateful to God that the jouney has come to an end,took my step 2ck on aug 29th after few weeks of studying, i knew i needed more time but i couldnt afford to neglect my then 6 weeks old baby anymore, and i prayed to God that all i needed was a modest pass mark.
considering my short and disorganised prep i wasnt surprised when i hit the computer and met some tough questions, the exam i must say would have been termd fair by a prepared soul but i guess i wasnt, my step 1 knowledge went a long way to help me.
my score came in today 210/86, what can i say thank God am ECFMG certified finally.

thank you evryone, oldid, like i said earlier i had a very disorganised study pattern cos of all that was happening arond me so dont know if its wise putting it down, but i will give you a summary all the same,
after my step 1 in june i took about a week break and started with kaplan IM got bored and moved to paediatrics and kapln qbank , i wasnt able to finish the kbank and IM before i went into labour, thanks to medical student syndrome i took my books along with me to the labour ward ,but i didnt get to read a page cos my eyes were on my baby the whole time.
when i got back i took some weeks break and resumed with o&g, since i was just coming from labour ward, i then finishe up my IM, surgery,never had a chance to look at psychatry.
now the confusion came wheni decided to use a review book, i danced between 1at aid, secrets, crush, none really satisfied me, well i did uw, for a month and decided to go for the exams.
hope i havent succeded in confusing you cos that was how i felt when i was preparing, i think the major help for me came from step 1 preparation

you got that score because you were not pregnanat so you could not say to the baby, learn peds and ob wile I learn the rest

we can imagine the satisfaction and happiness u must be experiancing after such score with a little preparation.
Good, keep it up and all the best for ur future.
I have a small question for u.
i gave my exam 2 days back & i felt the same during my exam that it is really not so easy. my preparation was honestly for 2 weeks only because of my full time job. My aim is just to get ECFMG certificate & m not bothered about my merit score.
would u please tell me how much percentage of questions u really feel u have attempted nicely or how much percentage u deserve from the exam because all these scores are percentile and i m getting difficult to make me cool till i get my results and getting difficulty in comparing my performance with the candidates who cleared the exam. I need a very rough idea from u as i understand no one can tell the exact figure.
hope that u will understand my anxiety & apprehension for the results.
i really appreciate ur answer.
