Hi, did anyone schedule their interviews in suny syracuse and any input about the program. Do they offer H-1 or is J-1 the only visa they sponsor/ accept for their visa needing residents.

Hi I have one from Suny upstate syracuse and i scheduled it to 31st oct. Its a nice place and a competitive program for IMGs. Offers J1 only. If visa is not an issue then should be ranked high.

Thanks for the reply guys. KINGSOFKE can you tell me if they provide any accomodation I mean when you schedule your interview. How are you planning to travel is amtrack an option for going to syracuse.

Oh I got it for Prelim IM, I presumed that they are sending out categorical too but i am not sure. what about you fmg_99???

Oh now that i checked, i also just checked prelim im in suny upstate as i was applying to neurology to same program.

hi fmg_99 and kingsofke...congrats to you both! I too have received an invite for categorical IM.
fmg_99, i am considering amtrak to travel from new jersey. Due to weather restrictions as well as other interview dates, I might schedule for early nov. Which means this might be my first interview to attend....against my wishes.
As for accomodation, you shd be able to find that out after scheduling:"More specific information including directions, dinner specifics and hotel information will be sent with your confirmation letter via email."
