my oasis updated on 17 th and i tried to apply for it let me do it ,it means I failed 2nd time step-1. my whole life is like dark black night for me.what should i do? i am crying!!! i am an IMG from india.failure word was not in my dictionary.now it seems that my life is totally dark.

matty,
just because you did not make it through a usmle exam, please dont feel discouraged. There are a large number of doctors who are having a great, busy, very successful practice although they did not clear some exams in the first or second attempt. There is no need to feel you are lower or less qualified or inferior to others. do you know that Srinivasa Ramanujam, the great Nobel Prize winner for Maths was actually a school dropout! or like he failed in math in school. There are lots of people who did not score high in exams but they were extremely successful in the profession.
Just take a few days to get over this, put this behind, ask yourself what you like to do in life, maybe you like some allied health career like medical informatics or research based etc... There are lots and lots of options. Dont set your world around USMLE, USMLE is NOT the center of this universe, not even the earth or the sun, our milky way itself is not in the center of the universe...! often we make a big deal about something.
In short, put this behind and move on. You are as important and worthy as any other human being!
