Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Hi guys

can some of you give advices that can help me in studying effectively

First advice, don't do everything u hear.Follow ur instincts.
No one in this forum is a baby and no one has all the answers. These exams can deviate from the norm.
But if u really need opinions, read and understand the concepts just like u have done for all the exams u have ever taken.
I really don't think any book is superior bc some qns i answered in the exam were bc is saw them highlighted in FA and they stuck .And everyone thinks FA is a no no for CK .Some I knew bc of good explanations in kaplan or UW.
Most qns were not covered in either bk or UW.(My exam was peculiar.)They needed reasoning but the fact is u can't even reason if u don't have the concepts/facts which is where the reading comes in.My point is,reading is not all u need but sadly,u can't do anything else but read and pray.
so,read whatever u wanna read and however u feel comfortable and do qns.Just the usual.
One more advice,i wish i did my UW sessions differently.I started too early when i knew nothing bc a "veteran" told me to and i actually advised other ppl to do so but it was a wrong decision bc doing those qns b4 studying was a total waste of time.I memorized stuff and forgot them the next day.
And to be faster with reading the long UW explanations,I noticed that if u read one area say cardiology and did all the qns in cardiology,u'll learn better and faster bc the explanations don't sound greek to u.
and u can easily detect ur weaknesses.
I don't know abt the kaplan Q bank but i hear it's good as well.
Hope this will make a diff.Good luck and God's favor.
