I think the duration to Dx PTSD is 06 months,while for acute stress disorder is 01 months.

acute...less than 3 months chronic...more than 3 months

Well if the patient only has symptoms for less than a month=acute stress disorder greater than a month = Post traumatic stress disorder and not that its related but schizophrenia-like symptoms less than a month= Acute/Brief psychotic dis > a month but < 6 months= Schizophreniform >6 months= schizophrenia right?

Are your sure its greater than 12?.....I think its >6....for a diagnosis of schizophrenia..

yep schizophrenia..more than 6 months schizophreniform.....less than 6 months but greater than 1 month .
