Hi BBB,
I am fairly new to this forum, but after reading the posts it turns out that you are the guy to turn to when we have unanswered questions. I would like to know if my friends who are presently doing their internship can help me land an interview at their program. This is my second time in the match and I don't have stellar scores, so I was thinking of using connections. Do interns have a say or can they recommend applicants to the PC or the PD?
Your help will be greatly appreciated

Use any connection you may have..., although I don´t think interns opinions about candidates have weight...

My current interns and residents tell me all the time about applicants that they think would be good in the program. It can't hurt to have your friends mention you to the PD and PC. I put the notes in a file.
