I need to resign from taking my Step 1. I don't mean putting it off, I mean completely signing off. Is it possible? I still have over 3 months to go.

I believe you have to contact the NBME people. Another thing, what's up, why the decision?

It's a long complicated story. Hasn't it happened to anyone before that they had to give it up? I'd like to know what my chances are.
