Hi friends,
These are my credentials:
step1 =85/step2ck =86/CSpassed/6 months of US observership/usLOR =3/year of graduation =2002/Need visa/3 years of work experience as a Clinical Research Associate in a big research company and 1.5 years as a general physician in a private health center in my country.
Applied to 50 programs on second week of September, receive 1 IV from Louisiana (Shreveport), 4 rejections from Utah, Nebraska, Cincinatti, Rochester. Still waiting for more invitations.
Do you know something about Pediatric Residency on Shreveport?

hey win, just got that rejection too from cleavland...and residency08 i too called up childrens hoapital and they confirmed my interview(even sent a hard copy of the letter)

Hey guys,
Hope everyone gets good news after Thursday!
Had a rejection last friday from UTH, and from Cleveland clinic today.
To residency08: My credentials are posted earlier in this thread (i think 1 or 2 page) I scheduled my IV by phone at CHOM, after one week without any notice by email. When i called them, apparently they had received my email and granted my required date, but were overloaded with work and could not reply in time. So I would recommend doing as mukho and win says.
What do you guys think of starting an interview experience thread later on?

Hi guys,
Ended last week with a rejection from Denver, and started this week with a rejection from Hopkins (was a really long shot but worth the try) and University of Chicago.
I am traveling tonight to NY, and I am interviewing at SUNY Downstate on Thursday. So will post an update a few dates after that. Don't know how much access to internet I'm gonna have, but I will try to post updates on interviews.

PS: Rejection from UofChicago too! Guess nobody's changed its mind up there concerning the feared IMGs!!

Georgetown (Hmm... I heard a rumor that they were put on probation by the ACGME last year. Dunno if it's true.)

Got 7 rejections so far
So I was wondering, until when can we still expect to receive invites? I haven't heard a peep from most of the programs I applied to. Some of those I haven't heard from though, have sent rejection emails already (from what I gather on the AMG forums). Boy, am I fervently hoping I'm in their "maybe" bin and will get an invite if someone cancels an interview.

hey kali great profile! what seniors tell me is that IV peak at end of oct and beggining of dec and thereafter calls come in mostly when someone cancels, which is frequent enuff especially post thanksgiving (this is what he resiency co-ordinator at the place i interviewed said to me ) With ur creds u'll hopefully get more...u already have a few great ones...congrats and keep posting

graduated 7 years ago, completed pediatric residency in my country
4 US LOR
Master degree in US, with 3 years research experience, 3 publications
My IVs:
Goerogetown
UT Houston
CHOP
University of Maryland,
Dartmouth
University of Colorado
Boston Childrens'
5 rejections so far.
I haven't heard from most programs I applied to, though (most of these programs have already replied to AMGs, some to IMGs too)...
Anyone knows about Georgetown being on probation?
To Kali:
when did you hear from Baylor? I have been waiting for their reply for awhile
Let's hope we all get some more late IVs!!!!!!!!
