yup staging started with cbc, cxr, ct and ultrasound. anyone is good enough to start and i dont think you would be asked to choose between them rather one of them would be given. another point is in hogdkin we go for laprotomy for final staging if noninvasive test are normal. but in nonhodgkin we go for BM biopsy before laprotomy as if positive will put the stage to 4 and exclude need for laprotomy and is commonly seen in nonhodgkin.

excisional biopsy --> staging --> treat
stage 1, 2: radiation
stage 3,4: 6 cycles of chemo
and wish pt luck
