color should be business: black, grey, navy blue...price and brand don't matter as long as you look good and professional in it.

I bought a dark purple/ lavander...it sounds funny but it looks great, really professional, it is not a funny purple but a really classy one, almost like navy blue. I choosed to buy a suit with pants and not with a skirt because I think it is more professional also. I think any of the colors that medicus said is great as long as it is a dark color. My suit was 100 dlls I found it as a special at Macy's (it was 350)!!! so I saved a lot! I also looked at a lot of nice suits currently on special at Banana republic so go check there. I'm very happy with mine, good luck finding a suit that reflects your personality.

Hey Glo, I'm sure the purple one is really cool- I was looking at one myself,I know what you are talking about...Mine is dark grey and I also chose pants and not a skirt ( gosh, suits are uncomfortable enough, adding a skirt to it is a torture )) I bought mine at aplace called "the limited". Macy's is a good place to look, but not for people like me because for most of their suits I couldn't choose the sizes for top and bottom separately...Banana Republic is good, also Express, and actually discount places like TJ Maxx, Marshalls can have some very nice ones (designer) too, or even Target! Bottom line is, nobody will look at the price tag, just choose the one you feel most comfortable in and the one that makes you shine!

Glad you asked it before I did Paheli I guess it is yes. May be a maximum of 2 if you are lucky to get several IVs too close. By the way, no IVs no rejections yet but staying positive and focusing real hard on step 3.

well I will try to get a grey suit ,, actually i will have only 2 days after landing in US to buy the suit... so I need to know where I have to look..I wish I was in US , then i could have gone several times and also watched out for sales.. its sad but although you can get the msot glamorous clothing here is Saudia for women, you cant find suits easily (coz these saudi women dont work or if they do, they wear abaya)

man, just looking up again at that number......350. sheesh!!! that's a heck of a lot of dough to pay for an outfit. that's primarily why i asked if 1 will do. i think it's time for me to start saving up. a dollar a day from today, should get me 350 bucks by i'view season next year!!!

a novel idea to cut costs - should call up ecfmg guys and ask if they'll reduce my test fee if i brought along say..............my own chair, for instance!!! or, if i could request the program i'm i'viewing at to contribute towards the outfit i bought, specifically to impress them. oh, i could tell them i'll bring my own sandwich for my lunch.....so, no need to feed me! jeez, what a cheapskate i'll look like!!

Try to google it...Macy's is usually located in big malls. and another question i usually buy small or extra small shirts..my height is 5-4.would they have my size?? yeaaah, that's the problem in the US with all the overweight people...they created the feel-good-sizes, where small compares to extra large in any other normal country . I am really tall (5 11) and I still fit in extra small or the petit sizes! i have a friend she is very small ,she intervwd last yr, she couldnt find her size ,she had to buy her suit from a children's shop !!! i hope that doesnt happen to me !!!
That my happen to you too . Be prepared...Macy's have a child's department.

My friend who attended 10+ interviews said that she could manage with one suit. She has bought it from Macy's. Zainee don't worry I'm just 5''. I always need to shorten the pants even the smallest size

Hey zainee I bet you are almost like me, my suit is a size 0 petite jajaajaja the smallest they had, so deffinitely try size 0 petite if you go to macy's otherwise you will be diving in your suit.

Altering a suit that doesn't fit perfectly is the smartest thing to do. It will make the difference between a suit that looks cheap (even if you paid lots of money for it), and a good looking presentation........
