Why in pancreatitis, there can be Vitamin B 12 deficiency?

  #2

Because pancreas will release enzymes that will cause separation between B12 and R factor in the GI so that later B12 can bind to intrinsic factor in the ileum. If there is a problem with pancreas, there will be no enzymes to break the B12-R complex, causing B12 malabsorption.
