i have heard its impossible to get interviews in neuro unless you have worked in neuro or has some research experience. can somedody with none of these experiences but good scores stand a chance. how is the future of neuro compared to IM.with respect to salary and lifestyle and pressure at work

Impossible is nothing, but yes since the increased competition its going to get tough. IM is always easier than neuro. but still if you like neuro do try your luck. you never know. as for the rest of questions. here is the link: http://mdsalaries.blogspot.com/

thanks kingsofke, i have some psych experience. hope that will favour me a bit. i would definitely prefer neuro for IM and therefore i am trying my luck. lets stay togehter and share our anxieties.
