regarding physio what was the high most HY system? is it cardio /circulation??
did u get much q on GI physio??& how about renal physio??
do u have any advices regarding micro?? is helmith worth spending time on??
r the q in micro clear or tricky?

Congratukations very nice thread, mine went down hill when I got the acute GLOS syndrome= gogeta like oasis syndrome then went up again.

Physio is the basis for almost everything .one has to be thorough in physio(and patho) to be able to answer other Qs. So better not to do selective study in physio.There are no 100% pure physio Qs.
Everything is mixed and churned
Pharmac Qs were based on physio background. Patho.Qs on anatomy,physio. etc .hope you got the point.
Suprisingly GIT was asked in many Qs. and again nothing totally physio. Most Qs assume that we know certain basics.
Micro.wasnt tricky. Doc of helminths is imp.
Renals are imp .because of many reasons , big one ? DIURETICS!

"Mixed and churned" is right! Although, I did have a few, emphasis on few, straight physio q's. Some of them were in vignettes that read like pathology, but the final question was physio. But you are so right, Faraym, almost everything comes down to physio. I think this is what Goljan means when he says we gotta know the "Why?" and "How?" of it all. Patho gives us the "what", pathophysio gives us the "why", and physio gives the "how".

Kaplan DVDs have supplemental material to go with Kaplan notes. Notes and lectures are incomplete without eachother.
I watched them at a kaplan center in India.
