Dear bbb:
I know that it is very different from program to program, but I was wondering if you could give us an idea about the next questions:
- how long do you think does a PD spent reading one application and deciding about selecting for an interview. 1, 2, 5, 10 min? more?
- How many applications do you believe (for ex. out of 4000) are filtered through different criteria to select finally, lets say, 400 Interviews for 40 positions?

Right now mine isn't checking any. But once he starts, he'll have a couple thousand to go through.
