I have a Step 1 elegebility period for oct-nov-dec 2007, I wish to request an elebility period extension to jan-feb-march 2008, since I applied with 2007 material will I have to use 2008 material, or will form 176 do.
Another question does form 176, for requesting an elegebility period extension has to be signed by my Med school's registrar again like when I first applied ?

All you need to do it's log into the ECFMG site www.ecfmg.org and go to IWA you can ask for your period extension there.. if you have your forms submitted there, there's no need to have another one.. even they were submitted on 2007 they are valid for 12 months (i think) just be aware of the date of your exam scheduled appoinment to avoid fees cancel first and re-schedule at prometric.com
