Hi Guys.. Got my score scores today 204/84.. much relieved.
I found this exam wierd. but i,ll briefly write how i did prep.
I started preparing 1.5 months after my step 2(That was a big help).
Prepration time3-4 weeks.
UW59%(untimed tutor)
Revised step 2 kaplan notes once.
Mugged CCS and practised each one on the software, I guess that was a most important.
Take home message.. give lots of stress on preparing CCS as they save u in the end of the day. Questions are generally wierd and make no sense. But since that is same for everyone, the main difference arises in CCS performence.

pls advise on how to practise uw cases on software
and which software u meant ?
did u read first aid or crush other than the kaplan ck notes.

Thank you all for your kind words...
I did not use crush or first aid. infact i did try reading crush many times but i did not actually like it. Besides since i was very fresh fromstep 2 CK, i found revising kaplan to be more convenient.
I used to practise each case in the Step 3 software sent be ECFMG in the orientation CD. Open up any case in the CD in non timed mode and pick up a case from USmle world which you want to practise. Now entre each command on the software and see how the software takes each command. If there was any change modification of the order on entry to softaware , i used to make a note of it. That way i precisely knew that for each case ... the set of orders , the software will recognise.
