I asked a us physician to send a letter and he agreed. Later he informed me that he had sent it on august 30. I sent one more letter to ERAS on sept 4. I have been checking my eras for the updates, and today it showls the letter on 4 spet but not the one sent before.
How can I find out if the letter has reached them. time is running out on the applications here and i am freaking out. what to do guys.
please tell me..............

guys please, I really need some advice. Any one knows any ways to check for lors recieved by the ecfmg other than oasis

Call ECFMG and call that doctor and very politely enquire about the letter... Explain your concerns and ask if he would be willing to send another one if the system does not show it arrived withing this week...

oh ok thanks, guys. but usually on ecfmg they just look at oasis and answer, is there any way that i can speak to the guys who recieve the letters directly...... do you guys know if that can be done

they usually have more information then oasis...and they are your only resort

I called ECFMG yesterday to check if they received my transcript and LOR, but they told me I have to check OASIS. they weren't helpful.

Ask them to transfer your call to ADTS, they know more and better what is in your files...

Call up ECFMG and tell them you need to get in touch with ERAS office. Dont be polite......be stern. They'll always tell you to check OASIS/ECFMG. I went through a similar situation, but I explained my situation and told them I need ERAS NOW !
The lady transferred me over, and the NICE woman was able to tell me exactly what they had received. Good luck.
