Hey fellows (not the one after residency ),
There are too many posts everyday to go through .... and you dont feel good till you have gone through all of them. So, I was thinking that may be we can from smaller groups (~25) with matching credentials and similar requirements. This might help stay updated and can discuss about this match. There is seriously no advantage to reading everyone's posts if their credentials and requirements are different than yours. Our discussions will be open and on this thread. Others are welcome to look at 'em.
I have posted my credentials beneath and would like to invite about 25 people from any nationality to join me. We will meet and communicate at this forum on a single thread ....... this is not an attempt to wean anyone from this forum ...... prep4usmle is the best forum.
My credentials:
2002 grad from India
99/97/CS passed
Step 3 in Nov
need H1B (or may be J1)
PhD in Mol Med with 5 publications and 6 presentations.

Dont know if I am really in your boat-but hey I am trying to get there ;-)
Just a couple of Qs- what speciality are you applying for ?any USCE? how many colleges are you applying to? Are you trying for the Research pathway?

Completeing my PhD in Mol Bio. (hopefully this Nov.)
So far only one 2nd author publ. and 1 poster pres. - Dont ask why :-((
no USCE/US LoRs :-(
Step3 ?undecided
Applied to 60 odd programs and am becoming more religious/philisophical everyday!

We can do it that way..........but you should retitle your thread GROUP A
I'll create a group B, with the more middle tier scores and experiences. I have 81/90/awaiting results.
