^^^^ When are you taking CK ? You have a good chance if you can get your CK in on time. There's plenty of opportunities out there. You just have to find the right one.

im taking CK early october... and after that im just waiting for CS and then of course CK results.. i just sent out my applications this weekend. dont know if that was too late, or if i have any chance at interviews....

Ive had 6 IVs so far. 3 IM and 3 FP. Some FP are communtiy, univ. affiliated....
credentials are all over the place....go find them.

Hey guys,
this thread has made my day, I was feeling out of place: my credentials: grad98/scores 84/81/ 87 on 1st attempts, need a visa. Post graduate training in my country plus 4 yrs of active clinical practice. No USCE. Never matched last year after only 1IV. I am back determined to win this time.
I have got 1 Iv invitation, 1 rejection and one prog has put on hold. How I would wish to receive some extra interviews!!!!
Lets unite in keeping our hopes high!!

78/CK (failed 1st attempt, taking again end of oct)/CS pass/Citizen/US LORs
applied to 10 FM/20 IM/ 35 OB
2 rejections : 1 from norristown, 2nd from south florida
no IV
starting to freak me out!

got 2 more rejections today ... GW for IM and UAB for Neuro ...
10 rejections so far .. no interviews
what is meant to be shall come to pass ... 80/81 and 2 attempts each on that .. regrets? not even a tiny bit ... life is good by the grace of the Almighty and shall remain so by His grace

I was sad since morning since there is a long silence from programs for my inbox.............I havnt got any rejection or interview since some time, but after reading your post Felt good, I mean I like the spirit you have. I was regretting why I didnt score 99, but You know what Doesnt matter.

do i stand any chance this time? my creds 81(2nd attempt)/80(first attempt)/passed CS first attempt/ failed step 3 twice, again taking in 2 days/1 US lor/2003 pass out/ some observorship and research exp in US/no publication/ need visa. applied to 40 IM, 30 Peds and 10 FM progs. got 2 rejections so far. didn't get even a single IV last year. am very very depressed. should i go back to my home country?

hey dude..cheer up mate..there are so many like me in same boat as you...just hang in there..i would say apply to some more FM. i have 80 1st att/76 att/cs taken/us lor's/gc....i m applying to 60 IM,50 FM.i got 4 rejections so far no iv's..but there will be sunshine my friend...just hang in there..

thanks a lot guru, but my attempts and visa thing makes me the least wanted. the FM progs i have applied to are the only ones which accept attempts and sponsor visa. so as much as i want to, i cant apply to more because none accepts me.

got a second IV from Caritas Carney Hosp in MA, any body with advice?? I am still hoping for more. Success to all of you anxiously waiting and congs to those who have already even been interviewed for visas approved, this keeps my hopes high.
