no offense to moozy,he's just trying to comfort, but guys let me tell you one thing, u.k clinical experince guys are like hotcakes.irrespective of their scores if they have lors of ukce they will land up in some or the other community program. iknow of 3 people like that last year.low 80 scores, got prematches in nov-dec in i.m ,their c.s results still pending.yr of grad is not considered for them.one of them got after the scramble. while docs with clinical experince and done residency in their home countries if they had low scores had to stuggle ,get some usce etc plus they were considered old graduates. only hope for avg scores are good u.s lor, usce, contacts, perminent residents. now with u.k jobs gone bad, loads of u.k imgs are already applying,no doubt they will be priorotised.

could not agree more with pyruvate.... UKCE has been considered q lot last year and more people form UK are coming to US. Like I have mentioned before, a few programs actually shortlisted mostly people with UKCE, especially in NY, MA, PA area. Ofcourse teh application with UKCE is different from application form Home country CE, but does that give you a position in match. I know my friends with MS in india with some experience in UAE, Bahrain getting into programs with mediocre scores. You must have geard stories about great scorers not even matching at all. At the end of the day, no one can say what matters. My friend with double 99 and another one with 89/96/91, both with UKCE failed to get interviews where I got interviews from last year and ofourse vice versa. a couple others failed to match altogether whereas average scorers found themselves a spot. I cant place my finger on what they look at when you have interviews, all I can say is read my signature and hope for the best.
