I'm a IMG who came 3 years ago inmediatly after graduation to US with and F1 visa. I enrolled in a nursing program to be able to mantain the student status and I'm graduating on Dic. 2007. I was very exited because I thought I would get and H1 and then a green card and that would help me to get my residency in a near future (I already took step 1, waiting for my results!) But today I knew about something that crash all my hope. There is a cap in H1 visas even for nurses who are so needed. I don't know what to do, because even if the law could change before january that is something that nobody can for sure say it will happen. I feel very frustrated and I can't think on anything to do after graduation to be able to work and make money and continue taking my boards. If somebody can give me advice or is in the same situation please reply!! thanks
