Nany: I think its obviously easier to read similar things from peds and IM. There are few chapters which are different but a majority of them coincide. Its good to have you around preparing the same time.
Feyza: Briefly sum up how much have you studied? Are you making notes for cardio?

doc...youre soo crazy  and I know , it sucks to have to cook everyday  thanx God we eat out like 1-2 times a week when Im studying !
well, oldkid , thats a long story with CVS and thanx goodgirl, ur soo rite 
I spent like 3 days for the first read of Kaplan notes
then I listened to Mr Conrad for 2 days and made notes and then added them to my book notes
then struggled more than a week for 231 Qbank Qs but those 231 Qs made it really stick and I made notes of every single thing in them ! even if I did the Q right , there are things to learn from the explanations...
then I spent a whole day and a half with

and I felt veryyy good bc I never could read EKG b4
then I went back to my Kpln book and read the valv disease , arrythmias , CHF.... from e-medicine and wikipedia and made more notes ...(that may sound crazy but these two give the ABCs sooo good and for obsessives like me , who cant ever memorise anything , and who is a member of the WHY WHY FAMILY , builds a very good reasoning basis , then it never flies away ! ...
now I will read FA for 2 days and add it to my Kpln book and finally I will read them all for one last time this week !

CK, actually CVS and a combination of : 4.5 yr old boy + hypertrophic adenoids + wintertime + kindergarden + he hates to wear thick stuff he threw up his third time today and I dont wanna see no more laundries , so CVS was on the shelf since yesterday !
