what is the embryological origin of vagina?
in a book, i found endoderm ;
in other book, endoderm+ mesoderm...
could you help me with this?

i found that:
-sup. portion of vagina derived from paramesonefros :arrow: its origin-mesoderm
-inf part derived from urogenital sinus :arrow: origin-endoderm
is anybody with other oppinion?

I agree- the vagina is derived from mesoderm and endoderm.
the superior part from mesoderm (paramesonephric ducts) and the inferior part from endoderm of the urogenital sinus.
