Dear Dr. Fischer ,
Q.. 1. Re; your Ethics book , is that going to be new Edition on the way soon , if yes, when will it be ?
Q.. 2. Re; your step 2, 3 Flashcard , same question as above .
Since I will like to collect , buy those from amazon.com , just want to be sure if there any new Edition in near future . I will use them for this year end step 1 prep & next late mid year step 2 , step 3 prep .
While I was planning to get your Ethics book for st 1 prep, one of my mate here got 99 , 242 & this member's prep for st 1 included your Ethics book , that makes me want to buy it sooner than later .
By the way as the p4u forum member here , can we order all of those from you or your kaplan book store & get the special discount too

Dr.Fischer had some difficulties with login info here. He emailed me tonight this message to post in his name. I think we figured out the login problem and he will be able to post messages using his username.

Will let you know when I got the material , so far will focus on my recent books then will order those in near future like November , December or earlier depends on my current study done .
But am sure have no doupt that both flashcard & the Ethics will be great for exm & as collections too.
Do let me know here , if going to be flashcard with audio, video clip too .

Ah!! Yes!! There WILL be a set of flashcards with audio and video! they will come out in 60 days (November) and they will be the device I have created to prepare for the multimedia portion of USMLE.

Washington Manual EXCELLENT if you can stand it.
It is 900 pages of small, small 8 point print.
However, it has what you need!!!!

Serious note: boo hoo! 
Beware of the purchase of Pirated material such as DVDs/videos of me!!! Or any other of the intellectual properties.
Kaplan put three people IN JAIL last year, and go ten others blocked from participation in the match. OUCH!

After I had post the Qs to you , I had found the new 2008 of ur flashcard on amazon , but when I tried to pre-order , right away the page just disappear with only current version on .

I have a bit confusion re the following 2 books by you, ...
1. Are they exactly the same ?? or just different in yr of issue or they are totally different , since titles look similar, but covers are different .
If different , is that OK I will buy newer 2007 Oct one only , but will not get the 2005 one for usmle .
2.Also both are in MCQ, Case Q & A format or , just a short notes without the Qs in any one of them or both.
3. My plan of st 2 will be in mid next yr then st 3 the yr after next yr , is that too early to buy the 2007 Oct book ??

But few Qs ,
1. The Int Med book is the Fischer's Book then , is the book Qs are same as on line kap Int Med Q bank I bought last yr early or not .
2. If not ...
in next yr when am studying for st 2 ...
do I still have to study the Fischer Int Med book plus get the on line kap Int Med Q bank again , since , that will be totally different or alot more with updates too .
3. Nothing to do with the Fischer's Book.
I had attened kap center before the 2006-07 st 2 kap books out, so I had already had studied with 2005-2006 old st 2 books by time is the new one , though same yellow orange color without kaplan new kaplan logo on the cover of the books .
I do plan to go review all st 2 video in next yr , with my old kap books & notes from old video I did last yr at center .
Q... Do I need to re listen all videos , ? DVDs of step 2 with exchange to new st 2 books all of them & re- write all the st 2 notes from new DVD by time at center again ?? by time when I am starting more or less around in next early 1/3 of the yr ??
4. Any advice re ; need to read at least the kap st 2 Int med with video notes I did last yr at center for better st 1 score or it has nothing to do with it , in st 1 .
5. Any chance there will b live lecture other than in USA for step 2 , step 3 in very near future ??

if Kaplan put some people in jail for the materials, how we can get the original dvd /audio without participating in the expensive courses?

yes, Dr Fischer, i have also heard from a kaplan rep that new material [which i was told will also include some exposure to audio-visual format of qns] will soon be out. when is the latest that we can expect the material to be ready and released?

It can b pre-order from amazon , here the link. But as kap student they might order for u, check it out with them, since sometime it's cheaper if order through the kap center instead of online amazon or even fr online kap.
Check post above Dr. Fischer said in Nov, 2007, & amazon is accepting pre-order , Edition is 2008 , but as usual may b out in 2007 .

shwe, i was talking about a whole new set of material for 2ck prep, not specifically about flash cards. i was told that there were revamping their regular kln and videos. am just wondering what the latest update is about the release dates. maybe dr fischer will have the latest info.

I'm thinking of purchasing step2ck Qreview (6mo) even though I need it only for a month because of IM qbank plus a free gift (Flashcards of 200 diagnostic tests).
So I am wondering if this IM qbank is somewhat similar to the IM qbook by Dr Fischer and if anyone ever used his flashcards, how good is it?

WOW free gift flash card 200 diagnostic??
HAve not use flashcard yet , but if you have attend his class live & center , you will hear over & over re the Dx'tic test q & Ans , he said, that so good, no need to really memorized, read .
That falsh card will serve that without have to sit & study at center .
I am planning to get flash card , hope that offer will still on next yr when i will get the online Q bank .

I have same Qs re Int med Q bank online & all his Int med Qs books that 2005 , & 2006 ?[ with kaplan cover ]
.. Are all three of them are the same Qs ?? If so which one should we buy ??
... Are they all or if all the same , is one of them needed for st 2 or 3 or both ?
I got taste of Int Med when I got it online as kap promotion , it is so clinical & I love it . So will get it online again when doing st 2 , st 3 .
WHERE is Dr. Fischer ??
Busy interviewing already to get the best residents for his program ??

Concise, nothing what I would not known, everything what we've been taught about.

Happy Day to Anxious Test Takers!!
1. There is NO overlap between the IM question BANK and the IM question BOOK by me.
2. The videos for step 2 will be ALL NEW in January.
3. There is NOTHING WRONG with re-selling on ebay or anywhere else your previously bought course books. It is only when people electonically offer the DVD and videos
