well with uw for 2ck is good score. as for nbme i think their corelation graph for the scores is accurate enough. But I think putting it on the 2ck forum would get you more replies than in here

so what does 69% on uw generally equate to? 440 on nbme 2 is 199. nobody is replying in the CK forum

i dont know the exact corelation but i use to hear that a 69 on uw could get you in the high 90's on 2ck, but the nbme score is quite less.

69% in UW definitely is a good score if it's the first test with timed mode. It's equal to >95 on real exam. But 440 in NBME is not good enough. The performance in UW and NBME does not match. After pratice in timed mode test in UW, Then try NBME again. I got CK score 10 higher than NBME predicted 3 weeks earlier.

mavrick i am recent step 2 ck exam traker. i got arround 72% average in UW and went on to get 248 in real exam. my from 3 score was 660 which correlates to 250. i took exam wiht in 12 days of my nbme as u can see i got similar score in exam. as all other ppl say i also agree that nbme is a betetr indicator of exam. first i wud say that 69% in UWis a really nice score and witht his she can get 95+ in reall exam. a very close friend of mine had nbme form 2 score of 530 he again took form 2 after 1 month of solid studdy and went on to get 640 in form 3 i know three guys who took exam in last few months who improved their real exam scores from those predicted in nbme form 3. at present i wud say that nbme scoree of 440 is not gud but seeing ur wife score of 69% in UW i sincerly belive that she can improve a lot. i wud sujjest that she take one solid reading and tries to clear her clinical concepts. after that reading she take nbme form 3. and also i wud sujjest that she read medcine as last subject just before going for nbme form 3.

I found the UW very vague and I feel u r score in UW does not represent u r performance in the step2. It is a good study tool though. My UW score was average ...50%. My step 2 score was 250/99. They give you a lot of very vague questions (about 50%) this makes you feel very depressed if you are close to the exam. A lot of the hype created in these forums about UW are in my opinion concentrated marketing strategy. kaplan Q bank in my opinion is still the most researched Q bank.

UW score although a great learning tool, is a vague estimator.. I have faith in NBME (provided you simulate testing center conditions).. so if she didn't do that.. maybe she was distracted.. she should do another form.. fresh and early in the morning.. also NBME is pretty straight forward as compared to UW.. so if you read too much into the question (as you would for UW) you might get your answer wrong

Which nbme form do you think is the closest predictor of your score? Thanx.

i would think all forms test the same concepts so they should predict scores alike.. my experience is of form 2

my average on UW is 52% and im really freaking out b/c exam is in 9 days! i score 65 sometimes but then go down to 45 other times. it sure id reaseuring to hear that someone got a 99 on the real exam with a 50% avg. on UW. im still worried though, and advice for last 9 day revision? i would really appreciate it. thanks. Htobhaga did you take an NBME? was that more like your real score?
