hi...how does a failed attempt on step 3 affect interviews/application if somebody has nice scores on step 1 2 ,2cs and is ecfmg certified. and recent graduate?any opinion welcome.thanks in advance.

It's going to vary from program to program. If you have done well on everything thing else, some programs will cut the slack and look closer. Some aren't.
