guys it might sound stupid but i dont remember if i included my medical school transcript when i sent my LORs to Eras/ecfmg.
i will call ecfmg on monday confirm but i m worried so looking for answers here.
i want to ask those who have already applied if there was a place in eras where you could choose to send your medical school transcript.
i couldnt see any such option. does that mean i had not included initially with the LORs ? do u guys see it anywhere ?
also ecfmg mentions they received "eras application packet" so it doesnt help.
also if when i call ecfmg and find out that i had not included the medical school transcript then what should i do ?
i will post one to eras/ecfmg at the earliest. and then apply or wait ??

I have a very similar problem, I thought that the medical school transcript they were going to use was the one I sent for my ecfmg certification... And now I have to call them and ask whether they need a new one for my eras application...

My best advice for both of u is to send it again, it doesn't hurt (except for the Urgent Express Mail fee that u will pay)

same concern guys, I have had that doubt for a few days now, but I think that being ecfmg certified should tell that our medical credentials were verified with the medical school in our country, therefore the final transcript was sent to the ecfmg. I will be waiting for your report motorola, and thanks for calling and help us resolve the doubt.

In your OASIS account, there is a link to your ERAS application. In the Documents link, you have a list with all the documents that ERA received and scanned, with clear name and date when received. If medical transcript in on the list, it will be checked as such in the ERAS application.
Now, if you think about the transcript you were supposed to send as part of your application for the first Step, I believe that if it was not sent ECFMG would not have verified your credentials and possibily the certificate would not have been issued. I am not sure 100% on this part though.

I think we have to send them again, the one we submitted already for ecfmg certification is not used for application purposes otherwise my med school transcript would have been uploaded already...

guys i understand all this...but i dont remember if i included the transcript when i sent the LORs or not. is there a way to know that through ecfmg or eras ? besides calling them up. ??
dear cadp the ecfmg oasis eras documents says they received the "eras application packet." from me but dont mention the contents of the packet.

I sent my transcript's copy this morning. Better safe than sorry. On the bright side, not every program has among their requirements the medical school transcript (at least not in the website).

hey guys.... I got a transcript made... but there is a mistake there... instead of 01 months in a date it says 0 month..... should I get a new one made or wud this one do...
