Churg: have u been confirmed by Baystate? They have not contacted me ever since.

thanks guys...our forum has just been so quiet...i think the rejections are sucking out our energies...
LT, do you really ever get used to it? even though i expected some of them, it still made me really sad...you start to doubt yourself and your application...you kind of start losing hope...
*sigh*

no they havent confirmed me and i tried to call them but no body responded will try again tomorrow
and this week has been a night mare for me rejections from
indiana,cleveland,musc,uni of buffalo,east tn uni
so ustmd u still have a better week than me and i am seriously thinking about applying to other specialities though i have never thought of doing anything other than patho but this week has been really disappointing and i am starting to loose hope
3 invs cant get me a residency thats for sure ,anyways goodluck to every 1

You guys are lucky if u can apply to another specialty, my LORs are all path specific. So no way out.

the reason i haven't gotten some of your rejections churg is simply because of the fact that i didn't i apply to those programs...hehe! i am getting a little nervous...but with my app "complete" less than a week, i still have a sliver of hope...and so should you churg...hang in there!
i'm seriously considering applying to more PATH programs...but would definitely not apply to another specialty. bottomline: when i decided on path, it was with my whole mind, body and spirit (sorry, i tend to be overly dramatic!)...basically, i would NOT be happy doing something else.
LT, all my LORs are path specific and all are from pathologists...my PS is on path and do NOT want to write another one...besides, doing that will be lying to the programs that that's the specialty i want to do and more importantly, it would be lying to myself.
anyway, if you are genuinely interested in another field churg, and think that you'll be just as happy in it, i don't think it will hurt to apply there too. i'm not trying to put down your decision, just sharing my thoughts and opinions regarding myself.
well, my inbox has been empty so far today. i'll check again after 5pm and hopefully i won't be greeted with a rejection!

applied to 30. 3 ivs and 3 rejs so far. i'll see how i feel at the end of the week and maybe add some more...but 31 on is just so expensive! how bout you churg?

I know some AMGs have gotten inv from those two programs from another forum. Don't worry, it seems you are very competitive (inv from Duke and UNC). Mind sharing your credentials with us? Good luck.
