PASSED!!! CS on July 31st in Chicago. I was getting really nervous when I read people who took the exam in Aug or Sept getting their results early this morning! But the email arrived past 1:30pm for me and I'm not over that hurdle! It was all kind of anticlimatic really...on the Score tab on OASIS, there was a red message saying "You have met all the requirements for certification..." so I found out I passed the CS even before opening the link to the result! Hehe!
Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers guys! Now it's time for the drinks!!!

Guys, how soon can I re-transmit my USMLE transcript? If I do it now, will my CS score be included? Or do I have to wait? If I do, how long? Tomorrow? After a couple of days?
And with regards to ECFMG certification, now that I'm "certified," will ECFMG automatically update the programs? Or is there something I have to do for them to do that?

hi guys, for those of us who just got our cs results yesterday, i just called ecfmg and wanted to share what i learned. they told me that an updated ecfmg status report should be sent within the next few days of our latest exam result. and then another one will be sent once we're "certified" officially.
as for the profile, we can't change that until we see on oasis that we are officially certified (certification page).
hope that helps! if you wanna call them yourselves or have another inquiry, the number is (215) 386-5900.
as for the transcript, it says that scores from the date of request will be included...so i decided to wait until this morning to re-transmit to make sure cs is included. it does take a day or two though...so that sucks!
quiet again for me...no surprise!

churg, i just got an email from fedex saying ecfmg sent something to me that i'll be receiving on monday! i'm assuming it's my ecfmg certificate...can't imagine what else it could be! wow, they're efficient!!!

hey guys! i was hoping to end the week on another silent note, but i guess i'm ending it with a sour one! arg! first rejection guys...duke. isn't ironic that i placed it in the rejections list without a name...it's like i saved it for me!!!

don't worry about the rejections...i know it's easy to say and hard to do...i'm still working on the one i got earlier...for some reason it still stings even though i expected it...*sigh* good things will come our way...we just have to be patient!

Rejections have been very polite and nicely writen. They make them look like nothing personal. On the other hand I'm very excited about my baby who seems to be jumping up and down happily in my belly as I write this... Maybe my baby knows better and I'll get an invitation soon!!!

I've been absent last week...
Next week on Wed it will be exactly 6 weeks since i took step1...i don't underst. why they don't send me the results...
I continue to write to hospitals for observer and call....pfff sometimes i'm exahausted....but get up again and "keep walking"...nobody wants me as an observer... ...hope i'll have some good news soon.......

thanks kleila! your results should arrive soon...check your email for a notification that your results are ready...click on the link and you should be able to get it. hang in there with regards to the observership...you'll find something...just have to be persistent!
