ans to my nerve injury qs is inferior gluteal nerve

Gladly, very tiring........grin

NMDA is a receptor which is usually blocked by Mg2+, unplugging has to occur before it allows Na, K, Ca ions. Now these N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors are nothing but Glutamate Receptors. It needs 2 kinds of stimuli Glutamate binding and ionic depolarization to alow the Mg2+ to get unplugged.

PCP and Dizocilpine (don't know the latter) are "open channel blockers" coz they require NMDA receptors to be open at all time.

Another interesting point to add is that any hyper activity of this receptor Cozes what's known as "GLUTAMATE toxicity" by letting excess Ca2+ influx. This is occuring in many nerodegenerative disorders.

Also, involved in learning process through long- term memory potentiation in hippocampus.

  #112

patient with inf .... hbsAg, antiHbSag antibody, HBeAg,anti HBeAgatibody all will be +ve
vaccine .......onlyantiHBsAg antibody will be seen
here my question is by which technique (biochem) this Ag and antibody are tested in serum?
