Which are "open channel blockers?"Explain MOA and give an example. what receptor involved.grin

Ac. i think u better write ur version since u asked.........

The same as kity explained:

With vasodilator, flow and oxygen delivery is increased. NO CHANGE in metabolism==>the amount of O2 needed (per time) does not change.

So the same amount of O2 will be removed from more volume of blood--->less O2 removed per ml of blood.

Venous PO2 will be HIGHER==>LOWER A-V DIFFERENCE.

yes, you are right hope4dabest! also don't forget adenoviruses! I always think of the mnemonic from FA: "you have to be naked to get a PAP smear"!

I had to cheat on the extrapyramidal system because it seemed like a very intersting question. Thx kity!. anyway, sounds like what you said is correct mytime. from what i read, EPS is the part of the nervous system that deals with coordination of movement indirectly. Where as the direct coordination of movements would be via the pyramidal pathwasy (i.e. CST, CBT). Since the the dorsal columns give sensory input to the motor system to help coordinate balance and movement, it makes sense. There are also other components that manipulate or coordinate movement.. maybe others can divulge some more on this...

here is my question: There are 3 main types of sphingolipids. What are they and please give an example of a genetic defect that results in accumulation of each type of sphingolipid.

Also can you all tell me the difference between a sphingolipid and a triglyceride?

Hey The qs abt virus by SIMI says except..PAP ie A

  #94

DNA viruses with no envelop include all the following groups except

a)adenoviruses

b)papovaviruses

c)parvoviruses

d)poxviruses

e)hepdnaviruses

oops, i should read the original question before shooting off my mouth! Well, it seems like there would be 2 answers. Both Hepadna and Pox virus families have envelopes! So, the answer would be D and E right?!
