Spleen a dorsal mesentry derivative is supplied by the splenic artery which is a brach of the celiac artery which is a foregut artery.

Retroperitoneal nodes which are the para-aortic nodes. Remember the testes descend from the abdominal cavity.

which takes me to my next question. What is involved in the communicating hydrocoele of the testes.

  #22

Doing LP in increased IC pressure could result in spinal cord compression or cerebral herniation.

  #23

In communicating hydrocoele of the testes there is a persistent processus vaginalis. The fluid in the sac communicates w/ that of the abdomen, thus the communicating hydrocoele. Processus vaginalis normally closes at 1 yr. of age.

Well done Anuba.
