Clara cell are located in bronchioles and terminal bronchioles. They are rich in GAG's and P-450. Their function is metabolized toxins.

are they found in bronchioles also?
i thought they are found from terminal bronchioles, i.e only in the lungs parenchyma

I found it in HY pag130 " The bronchioles and terminalbronchioles are lined by a simple columnar or simple cuboidal epithelium containing CLARA CELLS"

Yes, in terminal and respiratory bronchioles. However, bronchioles are also included in what is known as the "lung parenchyma."
