Hi friends I have applied for 90 programs in Psychiatry.I am an IMG and require a visa,preferably a H1.I find this forum very useful to find info about different programs.Here is a list of my interview invitations and rejections so far.
Rejections:
Lutheran general hospital,Chicago
University of Colarado
Virginia commonwealth university
Interviews;
Carilion Clinic,Virginia
Henry Ford,Detroit
Wayne State,Detroit
Case Western/Metro,Cleveland
Maine medical centr,Portland
University of Oklohoma,Oklohoma
Scheduled only 1 interview so far.I would welcome any info on the above programs,thanks.

puchpal i thougth u left for india...well try to enjoy your time back home...Since yesterday i recieved 4 rejections...Wesay mujhaay tu kisi top notch place nay nahi bulaya...jisnay bhi bulaya saray hi ya tu average programs hain...ya phir below average...wesay main complain nahi kar rahi....My credentials are also average so i am thankful...BAqi you are much fresher grad you will have alot of calls Dont worry..just hang in there....Just like your avatar

Dose anybody applay to west coast? Any results?
I am old IMG, grad 1995, 10 years psych exspirience in Home country.
91,99, pass, 3nd - step don't take yet, GC, no USCE, except observership in outpatient FP.
Got iv from university of southern california, will appriiate any information about the program.
4 rejection from FP (back up).

U will get letter by regular mail, which address u gave, becuz outside US takes some time to recieve, Call Mrs Harper to find out whether she already sent it.

I got my 2nd call from NY medical college westchester.. and a rejection from Umass
is it better to schedule an IV earlier or later?? I hear someone saying"apply early interview late".. what do u guys say?

Same question of newyg; when is it better to interview, early or late?. The phrase "apply early interview late" comes from Dr Iserson's "Getting into a residency"; but on the other hand some people recommends to interview as soon as possible because early interviews means high probability of prematch
By the way MERSEYSIDER ...you got several IVs but just booked one?
