Congrats PsychDreamer!
Hmm, seems like doing a transitional year is very helpful. Would you suggest that we do that as a back-up plan, to increase chances of matching next yr in case we don't this year? And wow, have you been through 19 interviews in such a short time? Incredible!

I heard that the that is a pretty good program and the residents are pretty happy there.
Do you mind sharing your credentials with us?
I chanced upon the student doctor network forum, and boy, the average number of interviews people are getting there is like 10!!!! They are probably US grads!
Do the PDs and PCs sort the candidates by what kind of graduates you are? I should think so.. sigh!

Thank you crystal... I'm an IMG, 99/90/PASS/Certified, all 1st attempts, 2 months of US clinical research no publications or nothing whatsoever, 3 USLORS and 1 homeland LOR... My US LORS are not in ERAS yet, one of them is quite strong... I'm waiting for those 3 LORS to get scanned and uploaded by the end of September

mt sinai elmhurst and vanderbilt.......
i applied to both.
at least they could have sent me the rejection.
Studying i need to know ur credentials buddy
i am really really interested to have a call from elmhurst
at least with ur creds, i may come to know that im not upto them os something.
and did anybody else hear from vanderbilt
or cupid alone in that team.

I just applied to 40 programs yesterday. I got rejection from Emory! The only hospital that says they do not need USCE, no cut-off graduation year, but scores are important!
The lady told me we got 600 applications and I said to her: if you were honest in yor website and on the phone you wouldn't get 600!
I have GC and 92/228 and 96/238 for step 1 and 2 CK. Took step 2 CS.

Hi guys who ever b in this forum.I just want to tell u guys. Psychiatry is unique, we r dealing with human mind and understanding it is challenging, if any body who just wants to use Psych as back up is futile, dont b dekuded tht PD's are aloof, thy treat the mind not ur body dont overact...............If anybody who sees this posting can dare me call me r mail me ..............first e mail me ...nagul2k2@yahoo.co.in
