esp it is the programme that do not prefer img s. I am sure for that. my frnd with a green card and good scores got a rejection from them.
reason is we are expecting hands on experience for an yr in usa. (it is not mentioned in their site)

Hi everyone. I just hit the "Apply" button at ERAS, but am feeling a little low. I applied to 23 psych programs in the NY-NJ area. Am US-FMG (almost - as I won't finish medical school until May 2008). 83/87/Awaiting CS scores. No USCE, no US-LORs, not even my foreign LORs are ready yet, because my professors have never seen anyone take the exams before graduating and are being very beaurocratic about sending them out. Dean doesn't want to write the Dean's letter because the instructions are 13 pages long and in English. I can't believe I could work so hard to get everything lined up in time and these stupid-heads are making my applications be late and incomplete. Oh well. It is done. Let's see how it goes.

Were your clinical rotations in the US or outside??

Drorange: my clinical rotations were (ARE STILL) outside of the US. I'm doing my internship in surgery now, then still have OBGYN, Peds and IM to go. Should be done in May. Have a few weeks off in December during which I hope to have interviews. Today our secretary is back from vacation, so I am hoping we will be able to advance on my LORs this week.

what are my chances,i only started applying on the 15/9/07,
step1-97
step2-91
step3-89
4yrs of psychiatric experience in u.k
no american LoRs
no research experience.
i am worried as i havent heard from any programs yet
