I is so disappointing the firstthing I do in morning when I got up is to got o eras and I found this msg Unfortunately after careful review of your application, it has been determined that you do not meet one or more of our qualifying criteria:
US citizen or permanent residency
Graduation in June 2003 or more recently
If graduated before 2006, 150 hours CME
Average score of 80 or above on both parts of the USMLE first attempt
Passing score on the CSA exam
Good command of the English language
let me tell u I have EAD also score of 87in ck cs pass n step 1 in nov graduated in 2005 ? so should I send them mail and ask what ahppened? are they rejecting mail because I have no CMES? should we do CMES even before applying to residency I am very dishearted tell me what should I do ? should I ask them to put me on hold for my s1 result?plz help me

Seems like a chicago program.
Well you can email them and ask them to put you on hold but frankly speaking if this is what they had to say so early then i doubt saying anything would help.
Actually these days they have so many complete applications meeting their criteria, selecting among those is also a big task.
But yuou are still a fresh grad good scores, dont worry. My rule is i apply only to those places where i exceed their minimum criteria, and trust me there are much more programs for u.
Dont be disheartened by these rejections. Its all part of the game.

thanks sarika problem is that because of family I only applied to prog which r near me so around 23 prog which is itself lessno

I personally think that its always one's right to ask for further clarification.
It's very busy time for them and sometimes confusions do arise. so, just give them a call and ask about it, as I think there is nothing to lose now so go for it........

Don't lose heart shumaila, with your credentials, you will get enough interviews. be ready for them when they come. Maybe apply to few more programs in the neighbouring states as well.

I got one more rejection and hat prog also has Img in their prog ma y be they are not considering me because I dont have step1 score ?do u thinnk I should nt hav applied this yr without s1?
very frustated in 1 day got two rejections

I would say take it easy....get really good score on S1 and see what happens

take it easy. its tough, but remember that all you need is ONE successful IV call, then all the remaining 22 can reject you right, left, and centre, and you wouldn't care...!
would not having the CS results at the time of applying hurt an IMGs chances badly...?
my scores are 99 / 98 in the other two. and i'm applying to peds programs only, as i have a residency in my country in tht field, and so i want to pursue only tht career.
