What is the problem in a pt. who urinates from the umbilicus? What is the problem in a pt. who leaks feces from the umbilicus? While u're at it, can someone define the relationship/purpose of: yolk stalk/vitelline duct/omphalomesenteric duct/allantois/urachus. p.s. some of these could have same purpose Thnx

Ok guys, here's my confusion.... You know how you have the yolk sac, right? Okkk, what goes through it? I know that it's filled with vitelline fluid. I think there is a VITELLINE DUCT(synonims=OMPHALOMESENTERIC DUCT=YOLK STALK) that connects the yolk sac to the GI of fetus. I think there is another tube, URACHUS that connects the yolk sac to the Allantois (fetus' bladder) Am I correct? If someone knows, please let me know! Thnx!
