Congratulations! Based on your ERAS application, you have been selected for a personal interview for the catagorical internal medicine residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital, a major teaching affiliate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University. [You are among a select group:
Prior to The Match, last year, we received over 2000 applications for our 30 PGY-1 positions.
This year we received 1800 applications during the first weekend!]
St. Barnabas Hospital is located in the Belmont or "Little Italy" neighborhood of the Bronx, with many fine shops and restaurants close by on Arthur Avenue. The Hospital is within walking distance of Fordham University, The NY Botannical Garden, and The Bronx Zoo.
The first step in scheduling an interview is to reply to this e-mail (a including your AAMC Number. [Please be patient with us - it may take several days for us to reply to your email since we have had so many applicants this year.]
Interviews are usually held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 8:00 AM, including a tour, and concluding by noon.
Interviews are held during the months of September, October, November, and December (except certain holidays).

they even didnt knew the applicants AAMC ID number before sending this email..

if u have these 3 things the software will automatically send u this email..

after u reply back u will get mail from real PC..

then u go for IV and see 500 indian guyz..

Yes, St.Barnabas is notorious for trying to sell itself early in the interview season. Their objective: lure a few lost candidates into signinig a contract with them.

Although I would recommend all candidates to take the interview. It can serve as a good "prep" to other future interviews. Or you never know....Barnabas might be the program of your dreams. But as azygous and muzammil just claimed, there's more than meets the eye when it comes to Barnabas and a few other programs. grin
