For metastatic prostate cancer, orchiectomy and antiandrogen therapy are considered equivalent. But if you are going to do orchiectomy instead of antiandrogen, do you do chemotherapy in addition?

2. If you are doing antiandrogen, do you give just Leuprolide, or Leuprolide + Flutamide? I know there is a USMLEWORLD question that says just Leuprolide because of increased side effects with Leuprolide + Flutamide, but I did a practice question for the Internal Medicine boards today and the answer was Leuprolide + Flutamide. I am inclined to believe this over USMLEWORLD...

Whether you do orchiectomy or antiandrogen you do chemotherapy as well.
Not sure about Leuprolide + Flumaide
